Moms Are Feeling Loved
Monday, May 10, 2010
Yesterday we led the “Celebrate Mom” love project and it was a big success. Over 120 people came out to enjoy a breakfast. Many ladies walked away with a gift that was donated from the community. We gave away gifts valued at around $1,500. One lucky mom went home with one-week accammodations to Myrtle Beach! Our goal was to love moms by celebrating them for all they do in our lives, community, nation, and world! I’m confident we accomplished our goal. Special thanks to all who volunteered!
Stories of Random Acts of Love
Friday, March 05, 2010
Our love project for March is Random Acts of Love. This project is a challenge to give away unbound love. Unbound love is a love that stretches us, a love that is unsual and possibly uncomfortable. It could be that you offer love to someone you don’t know, don’t usually love, or simply an act of spontaneous love. It’s a once a week challenge for the month of March that we hope will become a normal part of our lives. Inspire others to love by sharing the random acts of love you give away each week by leaving a comment below:

100 BROWN BAGS becomes 203 BAGS!
Monday, November 30, 2009
The results are in for our 100 BROWN BAG love project. Our goal was to raise 100 bags of groceries to be donated to Interfaith Relief to give to those in need this holiday season and we have smashed that goal! Here’s the life your love has brought:
203 bags of groceries donated = 2,003 pounds of food & 203 people fed for one week
Words can’t describe how excited I am that we have given our community this amount of love. I feel honored to know each of you who gave, served, and worked to reach our goal. Many of you went above and beyond. God is pleased with you and feels your love for Him. You need to know that by loving this way you have showed people who Jesus is - the greatest example of love the world has ever known. We love because He loved us and His love has brought us life.
